RESEARCH INTEREST

Gbenga Adebayo was called to ministry on October 1, 1996 during a BSF meeting. He began his training at the NBTS, Ogbomoso in August, 2022. He holds a PhD in Church History with research interest in Baptist History, Mission History, Ministers’ Health and Leadership. He has served as Medical Missionary, Church Planter, Mission Pastor and Lead Pastor in Niger, Benue and Rivers state of Nigeria before accepting the call to join the faculty of the NBTS, Ogbomoso. Gbenga Adebayo is married to a beautiful woman, and he and his wife have growing children.

Vision and Philosophy of Ministries. Christian ministries, exemplified by being involved in theological education, is an invaluable opportunity to be involved in what God is doing in the world to prepare God-called men and women through teaching, research, mentoring, leadership and administration to nurture spiritually vibrant, academically sound and ministerially competent servants of God towards transformation of the society through the Great Commission.
