Missiology

Rev Dr Akinyemi Oluwafemi Alawode is an Associate Professor of Missiology and the current Head of the Department of Intercultural Studies (formerly known as the Missions and Evangelism Department) of the Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary, Ogbomoso. He obtained his Doctorate degree in Missiology from the University of South Africa, Pretoria, South Africa. He conducted postdoctoral research at Asbury Theological Seminary, Wilmore, Kentucky, USA.

He has over thirty publications (both offshore and onshore) to his credit. Also, he has attended several conferences in Nigeria, South Africa, Canada and the USA. He is passionate about raising the end-time army for the Lord through theological education to reach the unreached and the unengaged for God’s kingdom expansion here on earth.

He is happily married to Mrs Oluwatoyin Wumi Alawode, a nutritionist and a university lecturer, and the Lord blessed the marriage with three godly and wonderful children.
