Rev. Dr. Omolara Abosede Areo is a child of God. she accepted Jesus as the Lord and Saviour of her life at the age of Twelve. she had served the Lord in different areas of the church life – Girls Auxiliary, Lydia Auxiliary, and Choir before she answered the call into the pastoral ministry as a Religious Educator.

She had her first (Master of Divinity in Religious Education), second (Master of Theology in Religious Education) and third (Doctor of Philosophy in Curriculum Studies) missionary journey in theological education from the Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary, Ogbomoso.

She was the recipient of the May Perry Religious Education Award, Rev. Emmanuel Oladele Agboola Memorial Award for Outstanding performance in Homiletics, Rev. Professor Osadolor Imasogie Award for Academic Excellence with Potentiality for a Humble Christian Life, and scholarship Achievement Award at her Master of Divinity programme in 2012.

Omolara Areo is passionate about ministering to children. She has developed a few games for teaching children and has been involved in children ministry of her local church. she has also facilitated several trainings for children’s workers in churches of the Nigerian Baptist Convention. Her vision for ministry is to keep serving the lord until He returns and also ensure that children as well as adults are brought into the knowledge of Christ through teaching and provision of adequate and essential curricular.
