RESEARCH INTEREST

Christian worship, Church Music, Administration, Christian Hymnody, Music Research and Writing, and Music Fundamentals. I am passionate about glocalizing Congregational Musicking Practices and how Christian Worship forms identify and Communities within and beyond Africa

Pst. Emmanuella Chesirri Mouma is a called Gospel Minister and Theological Educator. She is passionate to seeing Christ preached to the unreached through music and worship practices in unreached people group particularly through glocalizing music and Christian worship practices. She intends to achieve through indigenous leadership development and research.

Chesirri’s academic and research interest include Christian Congregational music in glocal perspectives and how congregational music operates in identity and community formation in worship.
Chesirri is dedicated to building a collaborative research network in congregational Christian music and worship more broadly. Her courses in music and worship draws insight from music and worship studies, anthropology, ecclesiology, and practical Theology.

In addition to her training in Music and Worship she has served as the Media and Technical Coordinator; and Minister of Music and Worship in Victory Baptist Church, Ogbomoso.

Chesirri is married and serving alongside her husband on the faculty of NBTS, Ogbomoso. The marriage is blessed with a son.
