Rev. Dr. Abraham Olutoye Odeleye hails from Ola in Ejigbo Local Government of Osun State. He attended Baptist Day School, Ola and Baptist Secondary Grammar School, Ola, respectively. He had National Certificate of Education (NCE) in 2003 at Osun State College of Education, Ilesha; Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.) in 2008 at The Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary, Ogbomoso (NBTS); Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies (BA) in 2009 at University of Ibadan, Ibadan; Master of Theology (M.Th.) in 2012 at NBTS, Ogbomoso M.A in Ethics and Philosophy in 2012 at University of Jos, Doctor of Philosophy in 2017 at NBTS, Ogbomoso and M.ED at Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, 2024.

He served as Student Pastor of Owode Baptist Church, KM 7 Gambari – Ajase Road Ogbomoso between January 2005 and July 2008; Vacation Pastor of First Baptist Church, Adikpo, Kwande Local Government, Benue State, between June and July 2005; Vacation Pastor of First Baptist Church, Ibeku, Ayetoro Local Government, Ogun State, between June and July, 2007 and Pastor of Owode Baptist Church, KM 7, Gambari-Ajase Road, Owode-Ogbomoso, August 2008 to November 2015. He was ordained into the full pastoral ministry of Nigerian Baptist Convention in November 2010 at Owode Baptist Church.

He joined the Faculty of The Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary, Ogbomoso, on August 1, 2015. He has joy in serving the Lord Jesus Christ in the Seminary. He is happily married to Mrs Rike Odeleye, and the marriage is blessed with children.
