RESEARCH INTEREST

Church Administration, Leadership. Pastoral Ministry

Rev. Professor Simon Ishola was born in Ejura, Ghana, but he is from Ogbomoso, Nigeria. He had his elementary and primary school education in Ghana, while his secondary and higher education took place in Nigeria. He answered the call to ministry and had his training at the Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary, Ogbomoso, where he received the bachelor, master and doctoral degrees. He has served as church pastor and theological educator for many years. He has also occupied and served in many leadership positions with the Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary, Ogbomoso and the Nigerian Baptist Convention. He has great passion to mentor the next generation of leaders. He enjoys teaching. He is a professor of Church Administration and Leadership. Simon Ishola is happily married to Marian Ishola, who is also a lecturer in the Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary, Ogbomoso.
