Church Growth and Expansion

Rev. Dr. Addison’s teaching ministry of missiology is motivated by the question: How can the African Church faithfully embody and proclaim the gospel across cultural, ethnic, and religious margins in Africa and beyond? His passion is not only to serve as a missionary but also to equip others to think critically, contextually, and missionally in an increasingly pluralistic world. His theological focus lies in the Missio Dei—the mission of God—which is not an optional program of the Church but her very essence and identity. He is particularly interested in the intersection of missiology with ecclesiology and interculturality. He committed to exploring how African Christian communities can embody the gospel in culturally faithful and theologically sound ways, without succumbing to syncretism. He is also deeply interested in missional ecclesiology, church growth and expansion, and the formation of missional disciples who will serve in both global and local contexts. His ministry vision is centered on three integrative pursuits: formation, mobilization, and transformation.
