Rev. Dr. Ayobami A. Ayanyinka holds a Ph.D. in Christian Worship at the Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary (NBTS), Ogbomoso. She is an ICETE Fellow, and a prominent educator in theological education, music ministry, and worship leadership. She serves on the faculty at the NBTS in Ogbomoso, teaching courses and facilitating seminars on Christian worship, Christian hymnody, worship leadership, theology, and liturgical Christian year. She contributes to scholarly discussions on contemporary issues in African congregations; she has also co-authored works with Nigerian, Cameroonian and Western scholars and has served as an editor. As the Music Minister at New Heritage Baptist Church, she enhances worship with her proficiency in multiple instruments, including the keyboard, drum set, talking drum and saxophone. Through her roles as educator, researcher, and worship leader, Dr Ayanyinka is dedicated to advancing theological education and enriching worship practices in the Nigerian Baptist community and beyond.
Her career objective is “To maximize every opportunity through diligence and hard work, striving for excellence in life, family, and ministry (Col. 3:23-24; 1 Cor. 15:58). Her vision is to create a legacy of faith and education that empowers future generations, rooted in a deep theological understanding. “No Grace to the Grave.”
