Elizabeth Akinbobola was born into Ogboru ruling house, Olodo Compound Ilare Ile Ife in 1961 to Prince Joshua Adebola Balogun and Mrs Florence Balogun. She gave her life to the Lord Jesus Christ in 1976 in her secondary school days at Oduduwa College Ile- Ife. She was the female chapel prefect of her school in 1978. Since then , she has been consistently following the Lord. As a young lady. Some people called her pastor, and while some pastor’ wife.
Eventually, she got married to Rev. Dr Phillips S Akinbobola in 1991 and entered into the ministry work with him. In the year 2000 when her husband came to the seminary for his PhD. She had the inner conviction to enter into the full time ministry work with her husband.
Elizabeth has passion for teaching and mission. She has been teaching in Theological Institution since 1992 till date. Baptist College of Theology, Kawo Kaduna (1992- 1995) Women’s Training Center, Seminary Ogbomoso (1999-2006) .Baptist College of Theology, Igede-Ekiti, 2006-2016). Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary Ogbomoso 2016 till date.
