RESEARCH INTEREST
Dr. Ajedokun responded to God’s call to ministry almost two decades ago. His quest for strong biblical and theological hermeneutics led him to enroll in theological education and training at the Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary in Ogbomoso in 2007. His teaching and research interests are mostly in theology, philosophy, and religion. His passion is to address socio-cultural, economic, and political concerns in Africa via a theological and religious lens. In 2019, he published a book titled The Problem of Poverty in Sub-Saharan Africa: A Theological Investigation. His ministry goal is to teach for human and societal improvement. He served as pastor of a local Baptist Church for five years, and his seminary teaching was greatly influenced by this experience. Dr. Ajedokun graduated from the Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary in Ogbomoso and Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye with a PhD in Systematic Theology (2017) and a PhD in Religious Studies (Philosophy of Religion, 2024). He is happily married to Grace Ajedokun, and they have three children.
