Missiology

Rev. Dr. Olukemi Esther Adejuwon was born on April 14, 1966 in Akim Mansu, Ghana by Nigerian parents. She started her primary school in Baptist Day School, Iree in 1972 after which she also attended Victory School, Oke-Ado, Ibadan and St George’s Primary School, Ile-Oluji. she also attended Orere Grammar School, Ile-Oluji for her secondary school education and for her first degree program, she attended University of Port-Harcourt where she obtained BSc. in Biochemistry in 1990. She had a MBA degree from Cavite State University (1999-2002) and for Masters of Divinity and PhD in Missiology (2011-2020) from the Nigerian Baptist theological Seminary, Ogbomoso. She is an Academic Fellow of International Council of Evangelical Theological Education (ICETE), 2021.

Olukemi Adejuwon is a Christian. She gave her life to Christ in January 1985 was an active member of the Baptist Students Fellowship. she developed passion for missions on her first mission outreach to Afenmai Home Mission Field in Auchi Area, Edo State in 1992. This trip widened her understanding and increased her passion for missions. She is a Senior Lecturer of Missiology at the Department of Intercultural Studies of the Seminary.

Dr Olukemi Adejuwon is married to Prof Ezekiel Adekunle Adejuwon and the marriage is blessed in every way with lovely children and grandchildren.
