RESEARCH INTEREST

Pastoral Care in Crisis Situation

Prof. S. Ola. Ayankeye is the current President of the Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary, Ogbomoso, Nigeria and Chairman of Heads of Theological Institutions (HOTI) of the Nigerian Baptist Convention. A Fellow of Counselling Association of Nigeria (CASSON), He served as the Public Relations Officer, for Oyo Central wing of CASSON and afterward served as Vice Chairman and later Chairman of Oyo State chapter of CASSON. Ministerially, he pastored churches and for some years served as Chaplain at Baptist Medical Centre, BMC (now Bowen University Teaching Hospital, BUTH) and Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary, both in Ogbomoso.
He was opportune to pastor Baptist Churches as a full pastor and in some cases as interim pastor in churches with crisis situations
He was Deputy President Administration and Deputy President Academics of NBTS (July 2014 – June 2016 and July 2016-June 2020, respectively). He also served as the interim rector of Baptist College of Theology, Benin City (July – December, 2020).
