The delegates of the Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary, Ogbomoso, led by the President, Revd Prof. Stephen Ola. Ayankeye, paid a courtesy visit to the new President of the Nigerian Baptist Convention, Revd Dr Olusola Idowu, at the Baptist Building, Ibadan. The NBC President, Revd Dr Olusola Idowu, received the delegates with love and joy. He shared issues of concern on the development of the theological institutions of the convention and the imperative of loyalty of the Baptist Pastors to the denomination for the furtherance of Baptist Mission work in Nigeria and beyond. The convention president commended pastors who are dedicated to the Cooperative Programme of the convention and encouraged them to do more. He reaffirmed that the Nigerian Baptist Convention will continue to work to provide adequate funding for its theological institution to ensure sustainability and excellence.
