It was another refreshing time in God’s presence, having exercised physical bodies for sound health as Conferees converged and the morning session of the Ministers’ Conference for Tuesday, September 13, 2023 started by 8 am. Moderated by the President of Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary, Ogbomoso, Rev. Prof. S Ola Ayankeye, it was a rich blend. There was African Praise beautifully led by NBTS Praise team, prayers, welcome speech by Prof Ayankeye himself, reports on “Proposal to Engage Nigerian Baptist Diaspora in Church Planting Efforts” and reinforcing the need for Baptist pastors to obtain their higher degrees from Baptist institutions, presented by Rev. Dr. Ezekiel Ajibade and Rev Dr. Gabriel Olaniyan respectively.
The theme passage, 2 Timothy 2:14-26 was read; singing of hymns such as ‘Have Thine Own Way LORD’ and others were other way God ministered to His people. Later to come the same day was the birthdate, Appreciation and retirement Service of Rev. Prof. Ezekiel Emiola Nihinlola. The atmosphere of the conference was filled with inspiration and sense of God’s presence, influencing every activity. The readiness of conferees to be imparted was noteworthy. Definitely, minister’s conference is an event not to be missed!
