EXAMINATION TIME, ACCOUNTABILITY TIME

The Second Semester Examinations for the 2025/2026 Academic Session were successfully conducted between 6th and 14th May, 2026. The examination exercise was peaceful, well-coordinated, and organized, with minimal challenges. Students and supervisors were punctual in carrying out their responsibilities, ensuring that examination guidelines and regulations were strictly adhered to in all examination halls.

A brief interview was conducted with a few students regarding the examinations. Students responded that the examination experience has been great, though only diligent work is to be rewarded, as examinations are a form of accountability. Examination time is a time of accountability. Examination questions are sometimes perceived as difficult, especially for examinees who do not prepare very well for the examination and, at the same time, appear to be easy and simple for examinees who are fully prepared for the examination.

Challenges are a part of life, even during examinations. A Church Music specialization student commented on the timetable for the Faculty, wishing that their exams were one per day, without the addition of any general paper, due to the practical and individual nature of exams in their Faculty.  Students who wrote online exams encountered some network glitches as well. In all, especially the in-person (AKA onsite) exams went well and students look forward to the holiday around the corner.
