The welcome programme of the Faculty of Church Music held in the Music Library on 19th August, 2024 after the Matriculation ceremony. Faculty and returning students received one another and new students with excitement. New students were also excited to be part of the family.

 The scripture read during the welcome programme was Philippians 2:1-11 and the charge was taken by the Dean of the Faculty, the person of Rev. Dr. Samuel O. Auda

From the scripture, he emphasised unity In Christ, humility, obedience and sacrifice. He encouraged the student to live in harmony with one another and to be like minded. Dr Auda further said that the students must humble themselves before God and the school authority, as God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble. He added that students should put God first in all that they do.

Other faculty members and staff present sensitized new students on the code and conduct of the Faculty as the new students were officially welcomed into the Faculty. It was a harmonious beginning for a new session and the Faculty of Church Music is set to live, serve, sing and play in harmony.
