PRESIDENTIAL VISITS

The President of the Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary Ogbomoso, Rev. Prof Stephen Oladele Ayankeye has been on a three-day fraternal Presidential visit to the on-going Conferences in Session of Ogbomoso and Osun Baptist Conferences. Visiting group meetings of the Women’s Missionary Union and Men’s Missionary Union of Ogbomoso Baptist Conference on Monday, August 29, 2023, with his wife, Rev. Mrs Susan Ayankeye; he was welcomed with much love and warmth. The women and the men were given ‘mission responsibilities’ to help do specific projects in the Seminary. On Tuesday, the President, flanked by his wife, Rev. Mrs Susan Ayankeye also visited Osun Baptist Conference where he was warmly welcomed and gave fraternal greetings as well.

The visit of the Conferences in Session ended on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 when he visited the general Conference in Session of Ogbomoso Baptist Conference. The Governing Council members, Rev. Dr Thomas Niyi-Ojo and Rev. Segun Babalola, the President and Chairman of the Conference respectively, played hosts while the President was flanked by other members of the Seminary leadership and community who accompanied him. With him were his heartthrob, Rev. Mrs Susan Ayankeye, The Deputy Presidents Administration and Advancement – Rev. Drs Yeside Odiase and Olusola Ayo-Obiremi, respectively; the Registrar, Rev. Dr Dele Oluwole, the Public Relations Officer, Rev. Kola Alade and Rev Dr Mrs Nike Niyi-Ojo, lecturer in Faculty of Church Music. The president appreciated the host community of Ogbomoso land for their love and their involvement in Seminary by sending students and receiving them for practical training and for their contributions in cash and kind among other things. He called on all and sundry to join in building and improving the Seminary which belongs to us all.
