Founded in 1976 by the instrumentality of Professor Byang Kato of Nigeria, ACTEA has grown into a leading network promoting excellence in theological education across Africa. The golden jubilee event brought together participants from 31 countries, reflecting its wide-reaching impact.
The assembly featured key training tracks in accreditation and quality assurance, curriculum development, leadership and governance, library and information services and digital theological education. These sessions equipped delegates with practical tools to strengthen institutional effectiveness.

Alongside the academic engagements, daily devotional sessions offered spiritual encouragement and challenge, emphasizing faithfulness in ministry, integrity in leadership and commitment to sound doctrine.
Overall, the event provided valuable insights, strengthened partnerships and renewed vision for advancing quality theological education.
