The Faculty of Education Students’ Fellowship of the Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary, Ogbomoso, organised a send-forth programme for her graduating students. The programme was a two-in-one programme as it was also the occasion when they were inducted into the professional body of education alumni students named Nigerian Baptist Religious Education Association (NBREA). The programme was held on Tuesday, 2nd June, 2026, at the NBTS Chapel. The programme was designed to acknowledge God’s faithfulness throughout the finalists’ academic journey and to send them forth into their various fields of service and ministry.
The occasion brought together faculty members (lecturers), fellowship executive members, students, and friends, who gathered to celebrate and encourage the graduating students. The atmosphere was filled with joy and thanksgiving as the finalists prepared to enter the next phase of their lives and careers. The programme started at exactly 9:00 a.m. with the arrival of the lecturers, finalists and other students.
On behalf of the Faculty of Education Students Fellowship (FESF), the new executive members presented awards of honour to the immediate past executive members who served the Faculty of Education meritoriously. Some of the finalists shared their testimonies of gratitude and thanksgiving to God for His faithfulness over their lives and through the seminary journey so far.
For the induction, finalists took a pledge to possess godly character and be faithful members of NBREA. The Dean, Rev. Dr Mrs Ruth M. Oyeniyi encouraged the finalists and other participants from the Word of God. There was a time of prayer for outgoing students before the sharing of the grace.
