STUDENT BODY HOLDS PRAISE NIGHT AND SENDFORTH SERVICE FOR GRADUATING CLASS

The Student Body of the Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary (NBTS) organized a memorable Praise Night and Send-forth Service in honour of the graduating class, as they prepared to conclude their academic journey in the Seminary, on Monday, June 1, 2026. The event, which brought together faculty members, staff, students and guests, was a time of thanksgiving, celebration, reflection, and encouragement, held at 5pm in the Multipurpose Hall.

The programme commenced with an inspiring worship session which ushered participants into an atmosphere of heartfelt thanksgiving and praise to God for His faithfulness throughout the academic and ministerial formation of graduating students. This was followed by vibrant praise sessions led by anointed ministers, creating an atmosphere of joy and celebration. Ministering during the event were Pastors Opeyemi Adisa, Florence Ogunjuyigbe, and Bolaji Adetona, whose ministrations greatly blessed the congregation and contributed to the spiritual impact of the programme.

A major highlight of the evening was the message delivered by the Seminary Chaplain, Rev. Dr. Olaide Ajeigbe. In his exhortation, he charged the graduating students to remain steadfast in their calling, faithful in service, and committed to the advancement of God’s Kingdom wherever He leads them. His message served as both an encouragement and a challenge to the graduates as they prepare for the next phase of ministry and leadership.

The programme also featured the presentation of certificates to all graduating students in recognition of their involvement in the Student Body during their respective programmes. In addition, awards were presented to all graduating class governors for their exemplary leadership and service throughout their years of study. Furthermore, members of the outgoing Student Executive Council (SEC) were specially recognized and honoured with awards for their dedication, commitment, and selfless service to the Seminary community during their tenure.

The Praise Night and Send-forth Service was indeed a remarkable and impactful event, marked by gratitude, celebration, and inspiration. It provided an opportunity for the Seminary community to celebrate God’s faithfulness in the lives of the graduating students while praying for greater exploits in their future ministry endeavours. The Student Body expresses appreciation to all ministers, guests, faculty members, and participants who contributed to the success of the programme and joins the entire Seminary community in wishing the graduating class God’s continued guidance, favour, and fruitfulness in their future endeavours.
